Streaming sunlight. Soaring spirits.
I have so many things that I am, I am part of and that I do. My life is full of little bits of this and lots of little bits of that.

Gratitude #53
I think an enormous number of people were grateful for this morning. M opened the blinds to this - glorious sunshine.

Gratitude #52
Today I give thanks for one of the things we have usage of with the flick of a switch - electricity. Without it I would be lost. Take it for granted much?

Gratitude #49
This is my favorite road. I love driving along it. It's like a little bit of country.
Tree lined road. Filtered sunlight.

Gratitude #48
It's been a little while since my last gratitude post - not for lack of things to be grateful for - they are numerous everyday - but for lack of attention to the task of posting!
Anyway, Today I am very grateful to my baby sister A for helping me gussy up to go out last night. Hubby and I attended a fundraising dinner and it required a bit of fancy schmancy attire. A to the rescue lending me a dress that I would never have dreamed of wearing but she talked me into it - and it was a hit. She also then stayed and did my hair. It was lovely to be spoiled by her and I am grateful to her for her encouragement.
Velvety slinky dress. Very special date.

Self Nurturing Mission - Draw or Paint a Picture using your Other Hand
Become familiar with your other hand, begin to use it to expand on your creative self, and to help uncover some locked away enjoyable emotions, have some fun with this exercise.
This was fun. I grabbed the biggest brushes I had and I felt like using fire colours. My left hand didn't feel that uncomfortable and I just freely painted. I didn't think much or plan out the next move, just put paint on canvas and it was great. Unfortunately the colours dulled as it dried but it was all about the process, not the outcome.
